© 2019 NEWMARKET NATIONAL TEN MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL

By Car

Getting to Newmarket by car is easy via the Don Valley Parkway/404 North or via Highway 400 since both roadways frame the town.

Patrons should note that Main Street will be closed to car traffic on SATURDAY, JULY 27 for our Buskerfest Street performances.

For any other day of the festival, parking in the downtown core can still be a challenge as spots are limited; however, accessible parking (with permit on dashboard) is available at Riverwalk Commons and Market Square (library) within easy access to Old Town Hall venue.  Please consult the parking map below.  Parking is available on residential streets within a short walking distance of the Old Town Hall venue, but watch for parking restriction signs.

Overflow parking is available at the Tannery Mall Go Station, just over ten minute's walk to the Old Town Hall venue.  While Go Station parking is free, parking at Tannery Mall is not, so be sure you note which areas are paid parking and which are not.  Map A (directly below) illustrates the direct walking route.  Map B (below Map A) illustrates the walking route along the Tom Taylor Trail--a slightly longer, but more beautiful stroll.
